Install Jesina on your phone or computer
Jesina runs in your browser. Adding it to your home screen opens it in its own window, like an app. There is nothing to download from an app store, and the app is the same Jesina you sign in to on the web.
Jesina is already installed on this device. Open it from your home screen or app list.
iPhone or iPad (Safari)
- Open this site in Safari. (Other browsers on iPhone may not offer this.)
- Tap the Share button: the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen on iPhone or at the top on iPad.
- Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add in the top corner. Jesina appears on your home screen; open it from there.
Android phone (Chrome)
- Open this site in Chrome.
- If an Install Jesina button appears on this page, tap it. Otherwise tap the menu (⋮, top right).
- Tap Install app (on some phones it says Add to Home screen), then tap Install.
- Jesina appears on your home screen and in your app list.
Computer (Chrome or Microsoft Edge)
- Open this site and sign in.
- Look at the right end of the address bar for the install icon (a small monitor with a down arrow, or a box with a plus sign in Edge) and click it. You can also use the Install app button at the top of Jesina's pages when it shows.
- No icon? Open the browser menu (⋮ in Chrome, ··· in Edge) and choose Cast, save and share > Install page as app in Chrome, or Apps > Install this site as an app in Edge.
- Click Install. Jesina opens in its own window.
The browser doesn't offer to install if Jesina is already installed on this device, or if you dismissed the offer before; in that case use the browser menu as above.
What the app keeps on your device
Only the look of the site: style sheets, fonts, the logo and a page that says you're offline. Your household, accounts and answers are never saved on the device for offline use; you sign in the same way, with your password and second step, and signing out works as it does on the web.
